9/27 classroom update

Seventh grade has begun its study of the woodland between the two schools and is currently starting a unit on classification where we will read about how scientists organize organisms from kingdoms to species along with naming systems. We will then use dichotomous keys to identify trees in our woodland study area.

Eighth grade is continuing to build knowledge of the procedures for data collection while also collecting some data about our Coastal Studies year long project. We are also introducing the properties of water and expanding our understanding of the metric system.
